Katyayani Asthan stands beside the Koshi in Khagaria. The district account locates it between Badlaghat and Dhamara Ghat on the Mansi–Saharsa rail corridor. Alongside Katyayani, the complex has shrines associated with Ram, Lakshman and Janaki. The official account also describes a local custom of offering milk to Katyayani as a protector of cattle.
