What the site uses

This edition is a static website. Its code includes no analytics, advertisements, tracking pixels, account system, contact submission form or third-party embeds. The default pages, maps, photographs, route records, styles and fonts are served from the same site. NASA and other statistical sources were acquired during research; visitors do not trigger live requests to those providers.

The site does not set cookies. If you choose “Keep this place”, it saves the selected place identifiers in localStorage on this device under bihar-unpacked-kept-places-v1. No selection is uploaded. You can remove individual places, clear the list or download it from “Kept”. If storage is unavailable, the list lasts only for the current page visit. District selection is written to the page URL so it can be copied or bookmarked. The copy-link button uses your browser clipboard only when you activate it.

Hosting and automatic script injection

A production browser check on 26 October 2026 observed Cloudflare injecting a Web Analytics script that is absent from the application source. HTML responses now include the HTTP Cache-Control: no-transform directive while retaining their existing cache lifetimes. Cloudflare documents this directive as preventing automatic beacon injection. The application does not add an analytics script or send visitor selections to an analytics provider.

Hosting configuration and this response policy are separate. Cloudflare’s privacy policy applies to hosting requests. The automatic setup documentation explains the no-transform behaviour.

Optional 3D views

The 3D district map and photo wall load locally bundled code only when you open them. Their geometry and images come from this site; no external model viewer, geolocation or third-party 3D service receives a request. Flat maps, captioned photos and ordinary page links remain available. Closing the view stops its renderer.

Optional detailed road maps

The road atlas starts with a local overview and retained route geometry. If you activate “Open detailed road map”, your browser requests map tiles from tile.openstreetmap.org. OpenStreetMap receives network details such as your IP address, user agent, referrer and the requested tile areas. Its privacy policy applies to those requests.

No geolocation, live geocoding or live OSRM routing request is made. The map uses fixed public landmark points. GPX and GeoJSON downloads remain local; the site does not bulk-download tiles or provide an offline basemap.

Requests and external links

Pages and assets are hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, user agents and request logs while serving and protecting the site; its privacy policy explains its practices.

Source links take you to external publishers when you follow them. Those sites have their own privacy practices. We do not claim that visiting a website sends no data outside your device.

Contact and changes

For privacy questions, corrections or removal requests, email ishivamkunal@gmail.com. Email is handled by your chosen email provider and the receiving mailbox; this website does not submit a contact form or upload files on your behalf.

This policy describes the current implementation and must be reviewed before analytics, forms, embeds or other external services are introduced. Implementation reviewed: 26 October 2026.
