Chirand is an archaeological site near Doriganj in Saran. The district account describes evidence of early settlement recovered through excavation. Its account connects the finds with farming, animal husbandry and hunting. These traces of everyday life are central to the site’s significance, rather than a surviving palace or monumental temple.
