Before you write
We welcome memories, photographs, documents and local knowledge. Tell us where and when something happened if you know; it is fine to say you don’t.
Please share only material you own or have permission to offer. For stories or recordings involving other people, check that they are comfortable with publication. Avoid sending private addresses, identity documents or sensitive personal details.
Every contribution is reviewed. Sending a suggestion does not publish it or guarantee publication; we may follow up about context, attribution and permission before using it. You can request a correction or removal through the contact page.
The form opens a draft in your email application. The site does not upload files or send the message: you choose whether to send it and can attach material in your email app.
