PHYSICAL LANDSCAPE / COPERNICUS GLO-30
Look across the land.
This view starts with a flat map. Open the surface model to tilt and rotate the region, and turn district and river overlays on or off.
The 3D view loads only when requested.
Drag to rotate; scroll or pinch to zoom. Two-finger drag or right-drag pans. Use the buttons for camera control. The optional WorldPop layer is a separate population model; brighter cells mean more modelled people. Read its scale and limitations ↗
The nine city points are OpenStreetMap reference nodes, not city boundaries. Zoom in where labels overlap. Journey lines are simplified, retained road-route snapshots from 2026; they do not show the whole road network, live traffic or safe navigation. © OpenStreetMap contributors / ODbL · Road atlas and limitations ↗
How to read this view. Colours follow approximate relative height from green at lower elevations to pale brown at higher elevations; they do not describe land use. The digital surface model includes vegetation and buildings. For performance, the original 30 m source has been averaged to a grid of roughly 1 km; height is exaggerated approximately eight times for visibility. The rectangular scene includes areas outside Bihar. It is illustrative and is not suitable for measuring elevation, flood risk or property boundaries.
District boundaries are simplified 2021 geoBoundaries data · ODbL. Rivers are generalised Natural Earth centrelines, not live channels. The optional 2026 population overlay uses WorldPop Global2. Open the administrative 3D district map ↗ · Explore a small Patna neighbourhood ↗
